Gladys Shumbambiri, CEO: Gladys Mutsopotsi Shumbambiri is the CEO of Intelligent Business Consultancy (IBC), a business consultancy , coaching and financial advisory services company which focuses on , Financial Education, Entrepreneurship Development and microfinance management training. Gladys was a senior Economist in the Economic Research Division of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, where she came up with the Monetary Policy Implementation Matrix, for tracking policy implementation. She is a co-author of Economic Management in a Hyperinflationary Environment and her chapter on Monetary Policy Implementation will assist nations facing a similar crisis to handle their financial sectors and macro economies. She has been on Capitalk Radio and Star FM on Financial Education, Macroeconomics and Women Empowerment 6 discussions. She is a certified trainer of the ITC/ILO in Making Microfinance Work -Managing for Improved Performance. She is a mentor, coach, consultant, conference speaker and trainer in finance, entrepreneurship development, microfinance management and personal development. Gladys holds a BSc Economics, an MBA from the University of Zimbabwe and a Professional Coach Certification from International Coaching and Mentoring Foundation. Washington is the Entrepreneurship Development Officer. He is a third year student at Chinhoyi University of Technology, studying business management and entrepreneurship. He holds a certificate with HEXCO in ICT.
Clementine Chikomba is an Associate in the training services of IBC. She has over 17 years’ experience in this area. Her main areas of professional experience include Master Trainer for Financial Education, Master Trainer for farming as a business and Entrepreneurship, Quality Management Systems, Food Safety Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems. She holds Master’s degree in Food Science and a BSc Honours degree in Agriculture. She has several professional qualifications in business functions and in management systems certification. She has led many Consultancy teams in technical cooperation projects in southern Africa, Africa, South America and Europe.
Shalom Govero is the Founder and Financial Literacy Trainer at MoneyWiz Zimbabwe. She has been accredited by the International Labor Organization (ILO) and Microfinance Opportunities (MFO) as a Certified Financial Education trainer, having trained young people and entrepreneurs from high schools, universities and private organizations. She is also a Microfinance Gateway Certified trainer in e-learning.
Her training focus in the past 5 years has been Financial Literacy for young people and Financial Management for Entrepreneurs & SMEs. She runs an online Personal Finance Class where she trains Money Management through interactive media.
Shalom is the co-host and resource person for Purse Strings, a Steward Bank Radio show and a coach for Financial Management for a regional women’s network known as She Means Business. She sits on the RBZ Financial Inclusion Working Group, is a member of Global Shapers Harare Hub and a board member of MCC, an ACSI member school. You will find her blog articles on online publications such as Bulawayo24 and the ILO Social Finance page.
Shalom is also a business entrepreneur with a passion for building self-sustaining businesses in the transport industry. She is a co-founder of a taxi and shuttle service, which has been running for the past 4 years.
Shalom holds a BA degree in Geography and Planning from the University of Sheffield (UK) and M&E diploma from the University of Zimbabwe.
